Flu Vaccinations

The Australian Government Department of Health advises that everyone over 6 months of age receive the influenza vaccine every year. Flu/Influenza is a highly contagious respiratory illness that manifests in symptoms like fevers, chills, muscle aches, coughs and congestion. It is especially serious for infants, people over 65 years of age and pregnant women, which is why the flu vaccine is provided without cost for these groups of people under the National Immunisation Program.
Please speak to the doctor for more information about the eligibility criteria.

Covid-19 Vaccinations

Moderna Bivalent, Pfizer Bivalent and Pfizer Paediatric COVID-19 vaccines are available.

Pfizer XBB1.5 and Moderna XBB1.5 COVID-19 vaccines are available for primary and booster doses for those aged 12+ years.

Novovax XBB1.5 is under review and will be available upon approval.

Paediatric Pfizer XBB1.5 COVID-19 Vaccinations are available between ages 5-11 years.

Booster vaccinations can be booked 6 months after your last COVID-19 vaccination or infection.

Iron Infusion

Iron infusion is given for the treatment of patients with iron deficiency, when oral iron preparations are ineffective or cannot be used. The aim of the therapy is to replenish body iron stores and to remedy anaemia, a reduced level of haemoglobin due to iron deficiency.

Before administration, your doctor will perform a blood test to calculate the dose of the iron preparation you require.

Each administration of iron infusion should take approximately 15 minutes. Additionally, you will be monitored for 30 minutes after the infusion.

Health Assessments

These assessments are a free health promotion service covered by Medicare to detect and prevent chronic health disease and encourage early intervention and screening.

This service is for patients aged 75 years and up but individuals who are 45-49 years are eligible.

This appointment can't be booked online so please call our reception at 8788 5770.

Skin checks

Our highly trained doctors can provide a thorough skin check. This is often done by using a dermatoscope. A dermatoscope is a hand held microscope that can detect early changes of skin cancer which are not visible to the unaided eye.

If you think you have a suspicious spot or would like to have your skin checked, your first call should be to your general practitioner.
