FEE STRUCTURE

PAYMENT IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF CONSULTATION

Our fees are structured to reflect the time you spend with the doctor as well as the number and complexity of matters discussed during your consultation.

The doctors charge independently. If you are seen by someone other than your usual doctor, the fee may vary.

  • Children 15 years and under are bulk billed (except Saturday)

  • Procedures, tests & vaccinations may incur additional charges

  • Prescriptions for medications will ALWAYS require a consultation. You will also be required to make an appointment for repeat scripts and referrals. This can be done through a telehealth consultation.

SATURDAY MORNING CLINIC

  • We run a clinic on Saturday mornings for non-routine issues.

  • Appointments (if available) will be offered from 8:30am until 11:30am.

  • PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT BULK BILL AT ALL ON SATURDAY MORNING (INCLUDING CHILDREN). Why are there out of pocket costs? At present, Medicare rebates do not cover the full cost of providing you with high quality medical care. This is because the government has failed to increase the Medicare rebate to match the rise in Consumer Price Index (CPI) and average weekly earnings.

*Doctors alternate on Saturday times, please call for further enquires

Appointments

For an appointment call 8788 5770 or book online.

  • Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time and doctor. We encourage you to see the same doctor if possible, as this improves your medical care, however you are welcome to see any doctor at the practice, and all doctors are able to access your medical records.

  • Emergencies will always be given priority, and this can at times lead to increased wait times.

  • If you have complex issues or procedures, please book a longer consultation time.

  • Please advise the receptionists if you or a family member require an interpreter service. We encourage you to advise us on your cultural background and any changes in contact details.

Arriving for your appointment:

  • Before you arrive, please ensure you wear a mask and do not have cold or flu symptoms. If symptoms are present, please show a negative RAT or PCR result to the reception staff.

  • When you arrive at the practice you must register with the reception staff.

  • You will be asked some simple identification questions, as this is an accreditation requirement for quality practice and it is to ensure we have the correct person, and the correct contact details.

  • Even if you are a regular our receptionist will always confirm who you are and ask to confirm address and/or phone number.

Reminder System / Text Message Reminders:

  • With your consent, we will be able to send you a text message one day before your appointment to your mobile phone which will remind you about your appointment time, date and doctor.

  • We may issue you with a reminder from time to time offering you preventive health services appropriate to your care, or reminding you to make appointments for follow up of immunisations or other tests.

  • If you do not wish to be part of this system please let your doctor or our staff know (our practice also participates in national and state reminder systems and registers).
