Heritage Medical Practice Wahroonga is administering both the Astra Zeneca and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines.
If you are a residential aged care worker, please inform reception so that your booking can be prioritised.
HOW TO BOOK ASTRA ZENECA:
We are currently taking bookings for anyone under the age of 60 (and over 18) who are interested in getting the Astra Zeneca vaccine. If you would like to discuss the risks and benefits and assess suitability, a telehealth appointment can be arranged with one of our doctors prior to booking a vaccine appointment. Call reception at 8788 5770 for more information.
Adults of any age who have had their first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine without any serious adverse events should receive a second dose of the same vaccine. On the basis of currently available information, Pfizer vaccine and AstraZeneca vaccine are not considered interchangeable. The two-dose course should be completed with the same vaccine.
Please see link below.
We will be opening up bookings in 3 week blocks due to the second dose requirements. Please check regularly to see when the next 3 week block is open.
